




The opening ceremony for the "Basic Energy Management Training Course," jointly organized by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and the Ministry of Industry, was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs on Tuesday and was attended by the Deputy Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung, Permanent Secretary and Senior officials from the two ministries.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of energy for national development, noting that this basic course on energy management is essential knowledge. He highlighted that the training would facilitate effective energy use in office buildings and help implement energy-saving initiatives. He also encouraged attendees to apply the lessons learned continuously in practical settings, which would enhance their capabilities. Furthermore, he urged them to share their knowledge and skills gained from the course, striving to support the Ministry's goals and objectives.
Following this, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Industry elaborated on the initiatives conducted for knowledge sharing about energy management, and on the Ministry’s ongoing projects related to energy management practices.
Next, the training instructors and trainees introduced themselves individually.
Then, the Deputy Minister and officials posed for the documentary photo together with the training instructors and trainees. The training course will be attended by 20 trainees and the training will take place for three days.
