Basic Diplomatic Skills: MOFA conducts Closing Ceremony of Certificate Course

The Closing Ceremony of the Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills (44/2023), conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held in parallel at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon on Friday.

The closing remark was delivered by Deputy Minister (1) U Kyaw Myo Htut. The 12-week long part-time certificate course comprised subjects related to diplomacy, International Relations, International Law, Economics, Contemporary International Affairs,

Negotiation Skills and International Conferencing, etc. The Basic Diplomatic Skills Courses have been conducted since the year 2000, for the staff from the various Ministries including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the personnel from the private and public sectors who relate to deal with International Relations and for those who are keen on learning those said subjects.

Present on the occasion were Deputy Minister(2) U LwinOo, Director Generals and responsible officials of the departments under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other related Ministries, senior diplomats and retired Myanmar Ambassadors, professors and instructors and 100 trainees from Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon.
