






The opening ceremony of the Basic Aviation Youth Training Course (Batch No. 1/2025) was held at the Thanlwin Hall in the East Command Headquarters, Taunggyi on April 22.
The event was attended by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, Commander of East Command MaJ-Gen Zaw Min Latt, Shan State High Court Chief Justice U Than Oo Lwin, State Ministers, Senior military officials from the East Command, State-level department officials and trainees.
In his opening speech, the Shan State Chief Minister encouraged the trainees to make the most of their school break and strive to become the next generation of skilled aviation youth who can contribute to the nation. He urged them to continuously study modern aviation technologies to keep pace with global advancements.
Following the speech, the Chief Minister and the Commander presented financial support and sports equipment to the trainees, who gratefully accepted them. A training instructor then explained the course curriculum and training schedule.
Afterwards, the Chief Minister and officials met and warmly encouraged the trainees and inspected the training support materials.
The five-week training program will run from April 22 to May 23, with three weeks of on-site training at designated camps and two weeks of study tours in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and Yangon.
