Bar Council meeting: MoLA UM UAG attended the meeting

The Bar Council organized its meeting (2/2024) at its office in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday with the attendance of the Union Minister for Legal Affairs Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo and other concerned officials.

At the meeting, several issues were discussed including taking effective legal action against 33 advocates who breached the code of conduct under Subsection (1) of Section 10 of the Bar Council Act; an advocate's request for a certificate of good character for a bank lawyer position; the opening of the Bar Council (Mandalay) branch; the construction of the Bar Council (Nay Pyi Taw) office building in 2025; and the design and content of the Bar Council Diary and Notebook, it’s learnt.
