Bar Council meeting: Bar Council of the Supreme Court held 3/2022 meeting

The Bar Council of the Supreme Court held its 3/2022 meeting at Cluster-1, Building-6, Sports training camp, Wunna Theiddi Ward, Zabuthiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 26 August with the attendance of the Chairperson of the Council Union Minister for Legal Affairs Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo and council members.

At the meeting, council chairperson union minister said the meeting is to discuss and make decision on the request of remark by the Supreme Court of the Union regarding with violation of the lawyers’ codes of conduct  and whether taking due action or not. It’s needed to give remark whether it objects regarding the 192 applications for registrations of advocates.

The collective discussion of the council members is also urged regarding the research paper on the findings on the suggestions and giving knowledge sharing training to be the competent lawyers.  It’s also needed to make decision on the matters to define the words of lawyer and legal expert and the current places where the NOTARIAL STAMP.

And the matters on the calendar, diary and note books to be published by Bar Council of Supreme Court of the Union and coding software to pay the annual fee via online.

Next, the vice chair and council members judge U Myo Tint of the Supreme Court of the Union, deputy minister and deputy attorney general U San Lwin, advocates of the Supreme Court of the Union U Mya Thein, Daw Khin Nu Thar, U Hla Han, U Soe Myint, U Soe Thein, U Win Pe, director general Daw Tin Nwe Soe from the Supreme Court of the Union, council secretary director general Dr. Thi Thi Myint took part in the mutual discussion and the council chairperson coordinated on the suggestions, it’s reported.
