Banking Services: Fake news on cash withdrawal

Destructive media are spreading fake news through social media that there have restrictions in cash withdrawal from banks.

Regarding this situations, the State Administration Council Information Team Leader Major-Gen Zaw Min Tun made explanation on normalcy of banking operation including cash withdrawal from banks on 18th November. The Central Bank of Myanmar also issued a press statement concerning this matter. These media are intentionally spreading fake news to harm cash flow across the country and economic development of the country.
