Banking services: DPM Union Minister inspects MFTB and MICB

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein inspected Myanma Foreign Trade Bank (MFTB) and Myanma Investment and Commercial Bank (MICB) in Yangon Region on Tuesday and held meeting with the staffs.

On the occasion, managing directors of the banks and departmental in-charges reported formations, staff strength, banking affairs and measures for the welfare of staffs to the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister.

In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister stressed on following law, bylaw, rules and regulations in undertaking banking services, human resource development, abiding civil service rules by the staff, security measures and performing the tasks with unity and he also coordinated essentials on the reports of the staff.

Myanma Foreign Trade Bank (MFTB) was established in 1976 and Myanma Investment and Commercial Bank (MICB) in 1990. These two state-owned banks are systematically undertaking import and export payments of the state, government departments and privates and banking services.
