Banking Sector: Deputy Minister attends meeting in China

Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue Daw Than Than Lin attended the 5th Vice-Ministerial Level Coordination Meeting on the Establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Development Bank (SCOB), held from September 14 to 16 in Hangzhou of China.

During the meeting, participants discussed the draft Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Development Bank, share allocation, voting rights, decision-making mechanisms, capital contribution models, the Concessional Loan Window, the future action plan, and the financial operational models of international development banks.
