Bank Robbery in Sagaing: Security forces seizes over 303 million kyats and weapons

Security forces, acting on information about a robbery at Kanbawza Bank Branch (1) in Pabetan Ward of Sagaing, successfully seized over 303 million kyats, two mobile phones, an improvised gun, nine 9mm bullets, one grenade, and two motorcycles.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 pm on Wednesday when four men arrived at the bank on two motorcycles, along with the body of one suspect. Upon investigation, the robbers were identified as members of the PDF based in Paung Hla Village, led by Hsin Yine, @ Khine Zaw Lin.

The arrested suspect has been identified as Ko Naung. Security measures are now in place to apprehend the remaining robbers, with exit and entrance gates being monitored and blocked.
