Bangladesh holds drives for World Blood Donor Day

To commemorate World Blood Donor Day 2025, the High Commission of India in Dhaka organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. The event was held on Saturday at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) in Dhaka, where members of the Indian diplomatic community came forward to donate blood voluntarily.

The initiative aimed to promote awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and to encourage public participation in humanitarian causes. In a parallel event, the Assistant High Commission of India (AHCI) in Rajshahi also held a blood donation drive. Indian students and officials of AHCI Rajshahi participated enthusiastically, contributing to the spirit of generosity and solidarity.
