Bangladesh’s Independence&National Days: Chief Minister attends ceremonies in Yangon

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut, diplomats from foreign embassies in Yangon, representatives of UN agencies and invitees attended ceremonies of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh’s Independence Day and National Day in Yangon on Sunday.

The ceremonies began with the National Anthems of Myanmar and Bangladesh. And, the Yangon Region chief minister, the deputy minister for MoFA and the Bangladeshi Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury cut a cake to mark Independence Day and National Day ceremonies of Bangladesh after the Bangladeshi ambassador extended greetings. The ceremonies included a dinner reception.
