Back Home: State Funeral of Vietnamese Leader and Embassy Visit

Myanmar delegation led by member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San arrived back in Yangon on July 26th after attending the State Funeral of Late General Secretary of the Vietnam Communist Party and Former President Nguyen PhuTrong.

In Hanoi, the delegation laid wreath, paid tribute and signed the condolence book at National Funeral Homeon July 25th. In a separate meeting with the Vietnamese Deputy Minister, the Union Minister presented the message of condolences from the State Administration Council Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

On the 26th, the delegation attended the Memorial Service held at the at National Funeral Home where President MrTo Lam praised the excellent performances of the Late Leader for the interest of the country. This was followed by burial ceremony for the Late Leader.

Heads of Governments and dignitaries from 27 countries attended the funeral of the Late Vietnamese Leader. During his stay in Viet Nam, the Union Minister visited Myanmar Embassy, and met with the staff of the embassy and Military Attache Office as well as trainee officers and family members.
