Back Home: SAC Chairman arrives back in Nay Pyi Taw

Myanma High-level delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left for Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday after attending the 8th Greater Mekong Subregion  Summit and other meetings in Kunming of China.

The delegation was saw off at Bao’an International Airport in Shenzhen by the Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia, Myanmar Ambassador to China U Tin Maung Swe, Myanmar Military Attache to China Brig-Gen Zaw Zaw Naing, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government Mr. Dai Jin Tao and officials from Myanmar Consulate General Office in Nanning.

During the tour, the delegation attended the summits, met with Chinese Premier Mr. Li Qiang and the provincial level officials as well as the Prime Ministers of Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam and Thailand. The delegation also made study tour to the prominent places, Universities, factories and workshops in Kunming, Chongqing and Shenzhen, making discussions for related sectors.

The trip has brought a fruitful outcomes for promoting people to people friendship and multilateral collaboration for socio-economic development of the nation. The Prime Minister and delegation members arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening.

They were welcomed at the airport by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, the Council Secretary and members, the Union Ministers, senior military officials from the Commander-in-Chief Office, officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, Nay Pyi Taw Commander and officials, Chinese Myanmar citizens, China and national races dance troupes, social organizations, artists, students, cultural troupes and local people.
