Back Home : Myanmar delegation returns home from Cambodia

President U Min Aung Hlaing and Myanmar high-level delegation, returned to Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday after paying a State Visit to Cambodia at the invitation of King Norodom Sihamoni.

The delegation was seen off at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport by Siem Reap Provincial Governor Mr. Prak Sophoan, senior officials, and Myanmar diplomatic and military attaché officials. During the State Visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing met with Cambodian Acting Head of State and Senate President Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister Hun Manet and National Assembly President Khuon Sudary.

They discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two governments, parliaments and peoples, as well as collaboration in the economic, cultural and tourism sectors. The President also visited historic and cultural sites in Cambodia.

The Myanmar delegation arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw in the same evening and was warmly welcomed at the airport by senior government and military personnel and officials from the Cambodia Embassy in Myanmar.
