Awareness Raising Workshop: Conducting survey on production cost per acre and net profit

An awareness raising workshop about conducting survey on cost of production per acre and net profit was held at the Pyinmana District Settlement and Land Records Department in Nay Pyi Taw on 5th October.

A total of 100 trainees from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation are attending the workshop which is scheduled to be held from 5th to 7th October.During the workshop, matters on setting up land taxes according to land classification based on net profit making, delivering necessary information for the socio-economic development of farmers as well as accurate data compilation on crop markets and production cost per acre will be discussed.

The workshop will also focus on difficulties encountered during data collection, standardization for mechanical assets depreciation, standard deviation (SD) consistency on calculating yield per acre, production cost and net profit as well as collecting the list of farmers who are operating their businesses with State Economic Promotion Fund.
