Awarding ceremony :U-25 Track and Field Tournament

The awarding ceremony of 2023 Shan State Chief Minister’s Cup U-25 Track and Field Tournament according to Self-Administered Zones/Division and districts was held at the Union Sport Ground in Lashio on Wednesday.

At the ceremony, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, the Commander of North-east Command, the State Minister, and officials enjoyed men’s/women’s 100-m and relay events. It was followed by awarding ceremony.

Concerned officials, the State Ministers and the Shan State Chief Minister presented awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners in the respective events. The Chief Minister also presented honoraria to the Red Cross Society, the Board of Jury and Lashio Sports and Physical Education Department which rendered assistance along the whole competition.

After that, the State Chief Minister, the State Ministers and departmental officials inspected Community Center (Lashio) of the Information and Public Relations Department and the Chief Minister presented cash awards.

They then paid homage to the Presiding Sayadaw of Lashio Maha Baw Dar Yone monastery State Ovada Sariya Sayadaw Bhaddanta Narada and Sasana 2500 monastery Sayadaw Bhaddanta Kesara and donated offertories.
