Awarding Ceremony: Shan State Chief Minister awarded the prizes

The awarding ceremony of the 24th Shan State Myanmar tradition performing arts competition was held at the convocation hall of the Taunggyi University on Friday.

At the ceremony, Shan State chief minister U Aung Zaw Aye awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes winners at the basic education level (aged 10- 15) classic songs singing competition, the chief justice of the State High Court awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes winners at the basic education level aged (15-20) classic song singing competition and other concerned officials awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes winners of competitions of singing, dancing and playing musical instruments.

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and wife presented cash of honor to the jury of judges team and the ministry of education team, it is learnt. After that, the awardees from the singing completion, dancing completion and basic education level Men SaingWaing (traditional orchestra) (aged 10-15) MaungArkar Min Khant and his team members who got award from playing musical instruments competition performed at the ceremony.
