



On 25th July, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a ceremony to honor the offsprings of the personnel under the Ministry for their excellent performance in the 2023-2024 matriculation examination at the Union Minister’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw.
Speaking on the occasion, member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister Lt-General YarPyae stressed that the youths will become the qualified citizens who can contribute to the interest of the nation if they strive to develop themselves enthusiastically.
The personnel are encouraged to nurture their offsprings systematically by providing the best education legacy. Emphasizing the important role of libraries to support the youths in their self-development process, the Union Minister urged all to accelerate the reading habits of the youths to eradicate illitrates and non-readers.
This was followed by presenting of prizes to the outstanding students. During the ceremony, 17 six-distinction winners, 22 five-distinction winners, 23 four-distinction winners, 34 three-distinction winners, 60 two-distinction winners, 157 one distinction winners and a total of 797 offsprings who passed the matriculation examination were provided stipend for the 2nd time.
