Award presenting ceremony: Mon State CM attended and awarded the prizes

The award presenting ceremony for the golf tournament commemorating the 51st Mon State Day was held on the evening of March 16 at the Ngan Tay Golf Course in Mawlamyine, Mon State. The event was attended by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, members of the state government ministers, departmental officials, participating golfers, and invited golf enthusiasts. During the ceremony, awards were presented by State Chief Minister, Chief Justice of the State High Court, and state government ministers to winners of the men’s competition, women’s competition, category-based competitions, and the best golfer awards based on individual shots.

On the morning of March 17, the 51st Mon State Day commemorative sports events including athletics, table tennis, chess, Sepak Takraw, basketball, and volleyball along with their award ceremonies, were held at the Mon State Sports Hall in Mawlamyine. The State Chief Minister, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, and state ministers presented first, second, and third-place awards to winners of each competition and warmly greeted the athletes.

In the morning on March 17, the State Chief Minister and state government ministers visited Basic Education High School No. 7, No. 9, and No. 10 in Mawlamyine. They observed and encouraged students taking the matriculation examination on its first day, focusing on the Myanmar language subject, as the students calmly answered their exams. Following this, the Chief Minister met with the examination supervisors and officials, instructing them to address any needs to ensure the students could successfully complete their exams and to work together to support the students’ success.
