Award presenting ceremony: Aiming to produce outstanding youths for the country

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation organized a ceremony of presenting awards for the outstanding students of the departmental staff who passed the 2022-2023 matriculation examination at the Mani Yadanar Jade hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi expressed words of honour to the students. In his speech, he said that the presenting award ceremonies are being held to recognize the efforts of the students and aiming to produce outstanding youths for the country.

He urged all to pursue their education continuously for the improvement of knowledge which is basic need of country’s human resources development. And the Union Minister and officials presented certificates of honour and cash awards to the students who passed the 2022-2023 matriculation examination with distinctions.

And a student with 6 distinctions expressed words of gratitude. Then, the Union Minister met with students and their parents. Among the 311 students of departmental staff who passed the 2022-2023 matriculation examination, 9 students passed with 6 distinctions, 12 students with 5 distinctions, 15 students with 4 distinctions, 18 students with 3 distinctions and 175 students passed the exam ordinarily.
