



Following a 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Xizang on January 7, authorities are speeding up the construction of prefabricated homes for displaced residents to ensure safety and warmth as cold temperatures approach.
Cotton tents have been set up in Jiding Village, with plans to relocate residents to new homes equipped with water and electricity in the coming days.
Despite freezing temperatures, electric heaters are maintaining a comfortable indoor climate. Efforts are also underway to secure additional supplies, including diapers and milk powder. Rescue personnel continue to monitor living conditions and ensure safety for affected families.
