Australia's Indigenous celebrate arrival of new year

Australians welcomed in the New Year with a pre-midnight Indigenous-themed fireworks display over Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Titled "Calling Country" the fireworks display paid tribute to the histories and stories of the Australian Indigenous people through music and colour. Kumbumerri man Rowan Savage curated the soundtrack to the firework display which signified the Indigenous history of creative storytelling.
