Australian PM meets Biden at ASEAN summit

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said a "really warm engagement" took place with U.S. President Joe Biden at the ASEAN summit in Phnom Penh on Sunday.

Albanese spoke of the "very constructive discussion" with Biden about the trilateral security pact known as AUKUS between Australia, the U.S. and the United Kingdom.

Anthony Albanese, Australian Prime Minister said “We talked about the importance of this agreement going forward, in particular in the lead up to the Defence Strategic Review that will be handed down.

And then of course the decisions that we'll make early next year.” The pair also discussed the impact of climate change in relation to economic growth and job creation.
