Australia PM, Chinese Premier ink agreements

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended an official signing ceremony at Parliament House following closed-door meetings.

Albanese stated that the relationship between the two nations has been renewed and revitalized, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in addressing differences and strengthening engagement. Anthony Albanese, Australian Prime Minister said "Without dialogue, we can't address any of the differences that arise between us, Australia and China have renewed and revitalised our engagement”.

Premier Li's visit, the first by a Chinese Premier since 2017, spans three cities and covers various bilateral issues. The leaders had a constructive discussion at their annual meeting, focusing on enhancing mutual cooperation.
