Australia’s biggest celebration of spring kicks off in Canberra

Australia's biggest celebration of spring and the largest flower festival in the southern hemisphere is officially underway in the nation's capital. The annual Floriade Festival is expected to draw huge crowds to Canberra over the next month. 13 flower beds covering 8,000 square metres have been designed to fit in with this year’s theme “Science and Nature”.
