Attack at Loikaw Airport: Terrorists attack MNA passenger aircraft & a passenger injured

On Friday morning, KNPP and PDF terrorists opened fire at UB-149 aircraft from Myanmar National Airlines while preparing for landing at Loikaw Airport in Kayah State.

The aircraft was at about 3,500 high, 4 miles north of the runway. There were 63 passengers on board the aircraft. The left side of the aircraft body was hit by the attack, and a passenger got injured. The injured passenger is receiving medical treatment at Loikaw People’s Hospital. The security forces are carrying out the security measures near the area.
