Attack on Border Guard Police Posts: Artillery shells by AA Group exploded in Bangladesh side

The State Administration Council is making constant efforts for development of the nation by laying down 5-point road map and 9 objectives.

At the same time, the Government is inviting the ethnic armed organizations to hold cordial discussion for achieving eternal peace. During this time, the AA Group, ignoring the peace invitation by the government, is attacking to the Border Guard Police Post near the border demarcation posts of Myanmar and Bangladesh with the superior forces.

On 16th September, AA Group, together with ARSA Extremist Bengali Terrorist Group, launched heavy and small arms attack to TaungPyoLetwe Police Outpost, and three heavy artilleries exploded in the Bangladesh side. Another 9 more heavy artilleries were exploded in Bangladesh side due to the further attacks on the 16th and 17th.

During the time when the government is making all-out efforts for achieving eternal peace, the AA Group cooperated with ARSA Extremist Bengali Terrorists Group, and launched attack to the members of Border Guard Police Post who are serving the security duty for peace and stability in border areas and rule of law.

Launching attack near the border fencing of Myanmar and Bangladesh is an intentional attempt to damage the bilateral friendly relations. It is reported that some civilians near the border area got injuries due to the explosion of heavy artilleries.

Moreover, the attack by AA Group on 31st August to the Border Guard Police Post at BP-40 border post left casualties and injured, Also the Border Guard Post was lost due to the attack by the superior force.

Concerning this case, a notification was sent to No.34 Border Guard Force of Bangladesh in Cox’s Bazar through Myanmar Border Guard Police Force. Moreover, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also sent a notification to the concerned authority in line with the norms.
