Assistance for Displaced Persons: Temporary shelters for displaced persons in Myitkyina

Kachin State Government is providing the temporary shelters to the displaced persons at the land plot, owned by the General Administration Department in Man Khein  Ward of Myitkyina Township.

Due to terrorist activities, the displaced persons of 50 households from San Khar Village are taking refuge there.

On Saturday, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and officials visited the construction site to oversee the work progress.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister coordinated necessities for timely completion of the process, including basic housing infrastructure and systematic electricity access. In addition, 20 million kyat cash assistance were provided for the temporary housing.
