






In order to support the victims affected by cyclonic storm (Mocha) that hit on May 14th, a coordination meeting to organize fundraising variety performance show was held at the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization on May 22nd. Organized by the MMPO, the artistes from MMPO, Myanmar Music Association, and Theatrical Performers Associations will participated in the show.
Chairman,Myanmar Motion Picture Organization,Kyi Soe Tun said "In a gesture of responding the gratitude of our audience, artistes from Myanmar Film, Music, and Theatrical Performers Associations are preparing to organize a fundraising variety performance show and all proceeds will be donated to the victims from cyclone affected areas."
With the assistance and guidance by the Ministry of Information, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and, the Yangon Region Government, the fundraising variety performance show will be held at the National Theater of Yangon for 3 days from 2nd to 4th June daily from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Chairman,Myanmar Motion Picture Organization,Kyi Soe Tun said "Expressing the gratitude of our audience, our artistes have contributed this event with intellectual and physical power as much as possible and we would like to invite well wishers and donors by getting involved in this donation as performing meritorious deeds."
Fundraiser tickets will be sold with affordable prices, and the proceeds will be beneficial for the cyclone affected victims, it’s learnt.
