Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union general assembly underway in Mongolia

The general assembly of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, or ABU, has opened in Mongolia. The ABU comprises 226 members from 66 countries and regions. Members have been cooperating in the fields of program production and broadcasting technology. The annual assembly began in Ulaanbaatar on Sunday. This year's theme is "Role of Media in Safeguarding National & Cultural Heritage."
