ASEAN-China Forum: MoL Union Minister arrived back from China

The Union Minister for labour U Myint Naung arrived back at Yangon International airport in the evening on November 5 after attending the ASEAN-China Forum organized from 3rd to 4th November at Nanning of China.

By the time of arrival at Yangon International Airport, the Union Minister inspected the Myanmar workers who bear the Job Passport (PJ) and will depart so that whether they hold the Oversea Workers Identification Card (OWIC) or not for them to acquire officials job in their destination country, to mitigate illegal departing, to entitle the migrant workers’ rights, to enhance protection for them and collect the information at Myanmar Migrant Workers’ Reporting Counter opened at Yangon International Airport and gave necessary instructions.

Next, the Union Minister visited workers’ hospital owned by the Social Security Board in Tamwe Township and inspected implementations of cleaning and greening at the precinct of the hospital and the staff housing.
