





The National University of Arts and Culture in Mandalay held a graduation concert for the 2023-2024 academic year at the National Theatre on Friday.
Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Daw Nu Mra Zan attended the event to support and encourage the artistic talents of the graduate students. She urged all to advance Myanmar's cultural arts on the international stage through innovative ideas and creations, while keeping pace with global arts and culture institutions.
The attendees later enjoyed a performance by the graduating students. Since its establishment in 2001, the National University of Arts and Culture in Mandalay has offered subjects in literature, music, dramatic arts, painting, and sculpture, with the addition of cinematic drama in the 2015-2016 academic year.
Starting with the 2023-2024 academic year, the university has also introduced traditional music and dance of ethnic groups.
