Arrived back from china: Myanmar delegation led by DPM UM arrived back at Yangon

Myanmar delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein who attended “The Fifth China Quality Conference” held in Chengdu City of Sichun Province of the People’s Rebulic of China from 1st to 2nd September arrived back at Yangon by Air in the evening on September 3rd and was welcome by Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar Mr. Zheng Zhihong and the officials from the Ministry at Yangon International Airport. 

During the trip, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister received a delegation led by Mr. Wang Xiaohui, Sichun Province Communist Party secretary in the morning on August 31st and discussed the cooperation in the instructure, agricultural, social and cultural sectors and boosting bilateral economic collaboration and providing assistance of modernized agricultural techniques and in the afternoon, the delegation of Sichuan Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. was received and the investment in the electricity generation and energy sector were discussed.

On 1st of September, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister attended the “The Fifth China Quality Conference” held at Chengdu Century City New International Convention Center and gave an opening remark. The conference was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Zhang Guoqing, Minister of the Department of State Administration for Market Regulation Mr. Luo Wen, Sichun Province Communist Party secretary Mr. Wang Xiaohui, Sichun Province Governor Mr. Huang Qiang, invited guests from WTO, ISO, other international organizations and business entrepreneurs altogether over 800 participants.

In the evening, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister paid homage to the World Archeological Heritage listed Buddha Image in Leshan City and attended the dinner hosted by the Leshan City Communist Party Secretary. During the dinner, the matters including designation of sisterhood-cities between Leshan and Bagan proposed by the Leshan City Administration, cooperation in the agriculture, technological exchange and tourism sector were discussed.

In the morning on September 2nd, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister paid homage to the Huayan Buddha Image on Mt. Emai and observed the Gaoqiao-li Rural Revitalization Project.

In the morning on 3rd September, Myanmar delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister left Chengdu City and was seen off by Deputy secretary General of Sichun Province Government and officials at the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.
