Argentina's Border Guard Officer Nahuel Agustin Gallo, detained in Venezuela for nearly three weeks, will be charged with terrorism.

Gallo, a corporal in Argentina’s Gendarmerie security force, was detained by Venezuelan officials on Dec. 8 after he showed up at an immigration office along Venezuela’s border with Colombia and sought permission to enter the country. He will be prosecuted, according to Venezuela's Attorney General, in an accusation that Buenos Aires has labeled "a big lie", and said that Gallo should be returned to Argentina “immediately.”
