Approval of registration: Registration of political parties approved by UEC

The Union Election Commission issued an announcement No 8/9/10/2023 on 25th April, 2023 allowing the political parties to be registered as political parties.

Under Article 9 of the Political Parties Registration Law, it was announced that the [New Democracy Party (Kachin)] [N.D.P (Kachin)] with its headquarters located at Chan Maw Housing (17), Ward No.3, Panwa Town, Chiphwe Township, Chiphwe District in Kachin State, Phalon-Sawaw Democratic Party with its headquarters located at the corner of Ngu Shwewar Street and Ingyin Street (2), Yadanadipa in Ward-9, Pha-An Township in Kayin State, National Unity Party with its headquarters located at Plot No (24), Aung Zayya Street, Shwe Taung Kyar Ward-1, Bahan Township in Yangon Region have been approved for registration.

The registration number of the [New Democracy Party (Kachin)] [N.D.P (Kachin)], Phalon-Sawaw Democratic Party and National Unity Party are 3,4 and 5 respectively.
