Application for Registration: SPP applied for registration as a political party

Those who want to establish a political party are applying to the Union Election Commission by stating the name of the party they want to establish.

To date, there have been 17 groups that have applied for the right to establish parties. Among the groups that applied, 14 groups have been approved the application for the establishment of a political parties.Out of 14 groups already approved for the establishment of political parties, Socio-economic Promotion Party led by U Kyin Wan has applied for registration as a political party under Rule 7 of the Registration of Political Parties within 30 days.

It is reported that out of 14 parties approved for the establishment of a political parties, 11 parties have been approved for registration as a political party and the remaining groups are being scrutinized by the UEC to be able to approve for the registration as political parties.
