






Jointly organized by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Anti-Corruption Awareness Seminar was held at the ministry on 16th August. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister stressed the crucial role of raising awareness about the corruption and preventive measures in safeguarding the interest of the nation.
The Union Minister urged the service personnel to be faithful to the state and the people upholding the prestige of the nation. He added that Corruption Prevention Unit- CPU is also formed to organize workshops, awareness raising seminars and necessary trainings for the service personnel in conducting anti-corruption tasks.
Then, a commission member clarified the current work implementations of the commission and CPUs, collaborative activities with the relevant ministries and departments in implementing Public Feedback Programme - PFP and conducting technology trainings for the effective operation of PFP.
Then, the attendees made sector-wise discussions on anti-corruption law and investigation sector, causes and impacts of corruption as well as the difficulties encountered while conducting corruption preventive measures.
