Anniversary of GAD: Mandalay Region CM attended the celebration

The celebration of 35th anniversary of General Administration Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs was held at the City hall of the office of Mandalay City Development Committee in Chan Aye Tharzan Township of Mandalay Region in the morning on 7th November and attended by the Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Chief Justice of Region High Court, region ministers, administrator of region General Administration department, officials and invited guests.
At the occasion, the Region Chief Minister gave an opening speech and the Chief Minister, region ministers and administrator of region General Administration department awarded the cash of honor and certificate of honor to the outstanding personnel from the department at the training courses in civil service academies (upper and lower Myanmar) and the refresher courses and capacity enhancement trainings.
Next, the Chief Minister and party watched the video clip on the history of the general Administration department sent by the GAD Head Office under the Ministry of Home Affairs and the administrator of region General Administration department presented memorable gift commemorating the department’s anniversary.
Then, the administrator of region General Administration department and officials paid obeisance to the retired personnel of the department and presented memorable gifts and the department’s personnel were presented with the gifts by lucky drawing system.
