Angolan President begins 3-day historic India visit

Angolan President Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco arrived in India for a three-day bilateral State Visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation. 

On May 2nd, Joao met with Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. A number of MoUs and agreements are expected to be signed during this visit to boost India-Angola relations.  The visit coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Angola.
