Alleged Honduran drug trafficker arrested on US extradition charges

An associate of former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, convicted of drug trafficking in a New York court, has been captured after being requested for extradition by the United States. Mario Jose Calix, 42, alias "Cubeta", former deputy mayor of the northwestern municipality of Gracias was captured in the department of Olancho.
