Algeria and Germany agree to boost cooperation on hydrogen energy

Algeria and Germany signed an agreement to boost cooperation on hydrogen energy on Thursday.
The two sides, led by Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab and German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck signed a declaration of intent to establish a working group that aims to boost their cooperation in this field.
They also oversaw the signing of a commercial contract between Algeria's energy group Sonatrach and Germany's VNG for the supply of natural gas from Algeria to Germany.
