ALBA bloc celebrates 20 years and vows to pursue a 'new political offensive'

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) celebrated its 20th anniversary in a regional context where its influence is increasingly diminishing and vows to pursue "a new political" and "economic offensive". The summit began with a private meeting between the Presidents of the member countries: Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua and the Caribbean islands.
