Airport incident In Macau International Airport, China

The runway of the Macau airport was closed for two hours in the early morning on Saturday after a broken tyre incident that occurred at around 1:30 am that did not result in any injuries. The broken tyre incident involved a Boeing 737 freighter that was on the take-off run.

Following the incident, the plane was moved to the taxiway before being towed back to the apron. The runway was reopened at 6:45 am after inspection and cleared off from debris for two hours and 10 minutes. The airport has vowed to ensure a safe operation site for all operators and passengers.
