Airport Building Extension: Yangon CM inspects at Yangon Int’l Airport

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and the Regional Ministers inspected the extended construction of international arrival and departure building at Yangon International Airport on Thursday. The construction works have been carried out into four phases, and construction of underground parking, passenger lounge are being carried out as the first phase.

The interior works for the arrival and departure building will be carried out in the second phase, arrival building in the third phase and departure building in the fourth phase respectively. The project is targeted to complete in December 2023. The Chief Minister instructed to meet the set standards and timely completion of the works.
