Aid for Storm-affected people: Donation of ASEAN member states to Myanmar

A C-130 Indonesia military aircraft carrying emergency aid and relief items donated by the ASEAN Member States for the Cyclone Mocha-affected people in Myanmar landed at the Yangon International Airport.

Responsible persons of the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Center), Director of the Department of Yangon Region Disaster Management Center and officials accepted the donated aid and relief items which will be transported to the cyclone-affected areas.

The donated aid and relief items include emergency household materials, 2 water purifiers with output of  500 liters per hour, 5-gallon buckets, masonry nails,emergency shelter tool kit and many other kinds of items weighingover13 tons.
