Aid to Public: Rice and cooking oil sale at fair prices

Under the supervision of the Magway Region Government, the Township General Administration departments, the Department of Consumer Affairs and the Myanmar edible oil dealers' association have been working together to sell rice and cooking oil at fair prices for local people in various townships in the region.

On 6th September, Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and responsible officials inspected the sales in the wards of Magway – there, the sales were for 3,300 households –the prices are 2,650 kyats for apyi of riceand 4,500 kyats for a viss of cooking oil per household.This rice and cooking oil sale at fair prices will continue in remaining wards, it’s reported.
