Aid Provision: Relief supplies delivered to Rakhine State

Officials continue relief operations under the guidance of the National Disaster Management Committee and the supervision of the Transport and Communications Committee.

The Mawlamyine Century Logistics (MCL-3) vessel, carrying over 2,200 tonnes of relief goods, including over 44,000 sacks of rice and 2,000 family kits sent by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement for use in disaster relief operations in Rakhine State, departed from the Myanmar Terminal on Sunday evening for Sittwe.

It's reported that over 32,000 tonnes of relief supplies, including construction materials, electrical appliances, medicines and healthcare products, consumer goods and foodstuffs, over 249,000 gallons of diesel and over 199,000 gallons of Octane 92 were delivered to Sittwe from the 16th of May to the 23rd of June.
