Aid Provision in Kayin State: Aid to temporary IDPs, patients and hospital

Kayin State Government provided aid to temporary IDPs taking shelter in Nabuhnitcha village in Kawkareik Township.

Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo attended this aid provision at Aung Theikdhi Monastery and explained instructions given to relevant officials to arrange safe environment for the school-aged children among the temporary IDPs to continue their learning, public participation in regional peace, efforts for the temporary IDPs to be able return to their places and proper assistance to them at the temporary shelters.

And, the Chief minister and officials provided 90 bags of rice, 90 cartons of noodles, and 180 viss of cooking oil to 357 households taking shelter in Nabuhnitcha village, and held talks with them.

The Chief Minister also visited the Nabu station hospital, comforted the patients and provided nutrition. There, healthcare workers were also provided with foodstuffs and cash assistance of 300,000 Kyats.
