Aid Provision: Cash and foodstuffs for temporary displaced persons

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win together with Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and many other officials visited the BayaKyein Monastery in Nyaungshwe Township.
There, they met with temporary displaced persons, expressed words of comfort and provided clothes, soaps and cash assistance donated by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, rice, cooking oil, salt, bean, instant noodle and eggs donated by the Ministry of Border Affairs and the Shan State Government and cash assistance donated by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs. Also, at the Yangon Monastery, clothes, soaps, cash assistance and foodstuffs donated by the Ministry of Border Affairs, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement,Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Shan State Government were provided to temporary displaced persons.
The Union Minister and party also provided aid to temporary displaced persons at the temporary shelter camp in the compound of Maha YanAung Pagoda.
