






Due to the heavy rain falls in Bago, the water level of the Bago River has risen above the hazardous mark. A total of 30 relief camps have been established to accommodate those affected by the flooding in low-lying areas and villages. Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and responsible personal gave words of encouragement and provided foodstuffs to the flood-affected people taking shelter at the Kalyanni Ordination Hall and Kyaynikan Monastery.
Tin Oo, Bago Region Economic Minister said "The Bago Region Chief Minister visited the flood relief camps, met with the flood-affected people and provided aid. Well-wishers also donated meal boxes. Regarding health care services, the Regional Health Officer and his team are taking care of the flood-affected people every day."
The Region Chief Minister also inspected the conditions of flooded areas. Although the water level has decreased, he instructed concerned officials to take care of the locals not to take risk.
